Erik Nelson mentioned several approaches related to nutrition, physical activity, and more.

The HealthyLongveity.Guide is proud to announce another successful webinar. This first-of-its-kind webinar was directed toward health coaches. In it, our speaker Erik Nelson covered some interesting points related to practicing health coaches.

In the webinar, Erik covered points about longevity definition and what is meant by healthy aging. In addition, he discussed demographic changes around the world in general and in the United States in specific. He highlighted the aging population's problems, like financial and emotional burdens. He also touched on how chronic conditions affect the lifespan and the modifiable risk factors that can mitigate chronic conditions. During the webinar, Erik discussed how chronic inflammation plays a role in various disorders, ranging from cancer to metabolic conditions.

To address these disorders and risk factors, Erik mentioned several approaches related to nutrition, physical activity, and more. He emphasized the importance of having proactive preventive strategies rather than reactive solutions to address the said risk factors. Erik highlighted the important role of health coaches in creating solutions that promote the longevity of their clients and how this yield returns to individuals and societies.

Regarding the dietary aspects, he discussed the "Blue Zones" and how their diet positively influences longevity. Towards the end, Erik provided practical tips for health coaches to help them set up suitable plans for their clients to support a healthy life that promotes improved aging and prolonged lifespan. Throughout the presentation, Erik provided plenty of useful resources for practitioners (the list is in the end of the article). When he finished presenting, Erik addressed questions asked by the audience.

Our Olena Mokshyna, Ph.D., and Ehab Naim, MBA, hosted this webinar. They are well-versed in various aspects of scientific research and come from diverse backgrounds but share a common interest in researching aging and longevity.

If you are a health coach, a nutritionist, or a health enthusiast, make sure to check the webinar.
